Zachary “Sneaky” Scuderi Expands Cosplay to Pokémon Universe
Popular AD carry Sneaky has once again impressed fans with his latest cosplay. This time, he dressed up as Marnie, one of the newest characters from Pokémon Sword and Shield, during HyperX’s charity stream. Sneaky donned a black pigtailed wig, pink dress, black leather jacket, and Marnie’s signature black choker necklace.
A Fun Twist: Pokémon Cosplay Instead of Pokimane
In a tweet, Sneaky revealed that people wanted him to cosplay Pokimane, but he misheard and opted for Pokémon instead. He shared a link to the HyperX charity stream where he showcased his Marnie cosplay in a picture.
Marnie and the Pokémon Universe
Marnie is a rival character in Pokémon Sword and Shield. She is the sister of Piers, the Dark-type gym leader, and frequently appears as a participant in the region’s Gym Challenge. Marnie is often seen with her sidekick, Morpeko, a Pikachu-like Electric and Dark-type Pokémon.
This is not Sneaky’s first foray into cosplay. He has an extensive collection of cosplays, ranging from anime characters to League of Legends-inspired outfits. Recently, he showcased his Thanksgiving-themed cosplay of K/DA Ahri.
What’s Next for Sneaky?
Sneaky recently announced his departure from Cloud9 after the team signed former TSM bot laner Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen for the 2020 LCS season. While he has not revealed his plans for the upcoming year, it may be challenging for him to find a spot on a professional team, considering most LCS teams have already filled their AD carry positions and finalized their rosters.
