SK Telecom T1 Makes Historic Comeback in Worlds Quarterfinals

The League of Legends World Championship is always an intense tournament, and SK Telecom T1 always seems to come out on top. They have never lost a best-of-five series at Worlds, and their opponents usually don’t even make it to a fifth game. So when they faced off against Misfits Gaming in the quarterfinals, many predicted a clean sweep for SKT.

However, Misfits showed that they were up to the challenge. They played with incredible skill and put the reigning champions on edge. The series became one of the most exciting matchups in Worlds so far.

However, in game four, SKT’s star player, Faker, took control and dominated on Ryze. Despite Misfits’ solid performance, SKT managed to even the series. Game five proved to be a tense battle, with Misfits initially gaining control. But Faker and his team fought back, ultimately securing the victory for SKT.

Misfits may have been underestimated, but they proved that they belong on the Worlds stage. Their performance against SKT was thrilling and showcased their skill and determination. They may not have won, but they will be remembered as one of the most exciting teams at Worlds.
