SK’s Jezu bidding farewell to the LEC in the upcoming season

Jezu Leaves LEC: SK Gaming Roster Changes for 2023

The 2022 League of Legends World Championship has come to an end, and with it, the focus now shifts to roster changes. One of the latest developments is Jean “Jezu” Massol leaving the LEC.

Jezu, a talented AD carry, joined the SK Gaming roster in November 2020. Teaming up with veteran support player Erik “Treatz” Wessén, Jezu has shown steady improvement and progress.

“Until the end I thought I was in LEC,” Jezu shared on social media today.

In other words, it seems likely that SK Gaming and Jezu are parting ways. SK Gaming will now begin their search for a new star AD carry to replace him, potentially considering players such as Fnatic, Team Vitality, and Team BDS.

This is an unfortunate end for Jezu, who was just starting to blossom as an AD carry. He either needed more time to develop into a top-tier player like Steven “Hans sama” Liv or a better environment that would challenge him to reach his full potential. Hopefully, Jezu will have better luck in the second split of the season.

It remains to be seen where Jezu will play next.
