Skarner Awaits a New Skin After 2,000 Days

Skarner is Long Overdue for a New Look

Skarner, a champion in the popular game League of Legends, hasn’t received a new skin since 2015. This puts him in the highly exclusive “2,000 days skinless club,” with no other members. The next champion to potentially join this club is Shyvana, who is still over a year away from her last skin after 1,605 days.

On the other hand, Kai’Sa, who was released in 2018, already has seven skins. Skarner has only received four skins since his release in 2011, with an average of almost three years between each one.

While Skarner’s audition for K/DA left much to be desired, he has also faced the frustration of a fellow champion, Seraphine, using one of his fellow Bracken’s crystals in her lore. It’s as if his unique characteristics are being overshadowed.

Fortunately, there is some good news for Skarner mains. Riot recently previewed a new skin for Skarner, and it looks promising. This means that despite the current drought, there is hope for a refresh.
