SK Telecom T1 Adds Thal and Blossom as Top Laner and Jungler for the 2018 Season

SK Telecom T1 Adds Thal and Blossom to Its League of Legends Roster

SK Telecom T1 has strengthened its League of Legends team with the signing of top laner Park ‘Thal’ Kwon-hyuk and jungler Park ‘Blossom’ Beom-chan.

Thal and Blossom, both rookies, join SKT with limited experience. Thal recently played for the European challenger team Red Bulls, alongside new Splyce support Raymond “kaSing” Tsang. Prior to that, Thal served as a substitute for NA CS team APEX Pride and LSPL team ZTR Gaming.

Blossom comes from the Korean amateur scene and is currently ranked 124 on the Korean ladder. Although he has participated in a few amateur tournaments, he has no competitive experience.

Thal and Blossom are expected to replace Heo “Huni” Seung-hoon and Han “Peanut” Wang-ho, who left SKT at the end of 2017. Alongside support Lee “Effort” Sang-ho, Thal and Blossom form the core of SKT’s substitute lineup. Known for frequently using substitutes during matches, SKT is likely to give these three rookies an opportunity to play in the upcoming Spring Split.

SKT will make their return to the LCK on Jan. 17, where they will face ROX Tigers in their first match of the 2018 season.
