SK Telecom and Samsung Galaxy clash in League of Legends Worlds final

League of Legends World Championships: SK Telecom T1 vs. Samsung Galaxy

After a year of hard work and intense battles, only two teams are left competing for the title in the League of Legends World Championships.

Tonight, SK Telecom T1 and Samsung Galaxy will go head to head to determine the best team in the world.

SK Telecom T1, the only team to win multiple world championships, enters the match as the favorites to complete their hattrick of titles. They won their first championship in 2013 and claimed the championship last year by defeating KOO Tigers, now known as ROX Tigers.

In the group stage, SKT finished with an impressive 5-1 record, only losing one game to Taiwan’s Flash Wolves. They faced a tougher route through the bracket stage, having to go up against Royal Never Give Up in the first round. In the semifinals, SKT survived a thrilling five-game rematch against ROX Tigers.

This year’s final is also significant as it marks the second appearance of a Samsung Galaxy team in the final. Samsung Galaxy White won the title in 2014, although they have no connection to the current team.

Samsung Galaxy has been one of the most dominant teams throughout the tournament. They also finished with a 5-1 record in the group stage, only losing to Team SoloMid. In the bracket stage, they haven’t dropped a single map, winning against Cloud9 and H2k-Gaming.

The final match will start at 7pm Eastern/1am CET, and it promises to be an epic showdown.
