Danny “Shiphtur” Le shows off his skills with a game-winning play
Danny “Shiphtur” Le, one of the most talented League of Legends players in North America, proved his skills during the second day of Twitch Rivals. Despite leaving the professional scene to become a full-time streamer, Shiphtur showcased his abilities with a game-winning flank that secured his team’s perfect 7-0 record.
In the video clip, Shiphtur’s team, Team Silver Mid, was preparing for another dragon while setting up a flank with Shiphtur’s Ekko. As the opposing team gathered in the chokepoint leading to the dragon, Shiphtur launched his Parallel Convergence ability towards them.
Taking advantage of Yuumi’s ultimate ability, Shiphtur’s Ekko stunned four members of the opposing team. The resulting combo wiped out the rest of the team, securing Team Silver Mid’s only perfect run through the Twitch Rivals group stage.
Shiphtur has made a name for himself with his exceptional play on Ekko. He has proven that he possesses great playmaking skills, capable of turning the tides of the game. This tournament has further showcased Shiphtur’s unwavering ability, indicating that he could potentially return to the professional scene and succeed if he desired.
Team Silver Mid advances to the playoffs
In the upcoming first round of the playoffs, Team Silver Mid will face off against Jungle Differential, a team featuring popular streamers Tyler “Tyler1” Steinkamp and Joedat “Voyboy” Esfahani. Jungle Differential had a decent run in the group stage, finishing with a record of 5-2, with losses against Sneaky Dogs and Team Boomer.
