SeongHwan becomes paiN Gaming’s new starting jungler

SeongHwan Joins CBLOL’s paiN Gaming as New Jungler

Yoon “SeongHwan” Seong-hwan, who spent a season on Gen.G’s starting League of Legends roster, has made the decision to join paiN Gaming in the CBLOL as their new jungler.

In the 2019 Spring Split, SeongHwan played for Beşiktaş Esports in the TCL, but unfortunately, the team did not qualify for the playoffs. They ended the split in seventh place with an 8-10 record, which included several weeks of 0-2 defeats.

In a recent tweet by paiN Gaming, SeongHwan expressed his excitement for the upcoming split. You can check out the tweet here.

After his time with Beşiktaş, SeongHwan returned to South Korea and joined Gen.G. However, he was placed on the bench behind Han “Peanut” Wang-ho and only played three games in the summer split, achieving three kills and five deaths.

SeongHwan will be joining paiN Gaming along with coach Sin “Xero” Hyeok, who was recently added to the team. Xero previously coached bbq Olivers from December 2017 to November 2018, but hasn’t coached any other team since Olivers were relegated from the LCK in 2018.

In order to improve their performance from the previous split, the rest of paiN Gaming will need to adjust their playstyle to accommodate SeongHwan. They finished the second split of the 2019 CBLOL season in fifth place with a record of 10-11.
