Misfits Gaming Acquires Splyce Players Sencux and Mikyx

Misfits Gaming has recently announced via Twitter that they have acquired Splyce mid laner Chres “Sencux” Laursen and support Mihael “Mikyx” Mehle.

Former Splyce Players Reunite in Misfits Gaming

Sencux and Mikyx have previously played together on Splyce in the EU LCS for nearly two years. During their time together, the duo successfully qualified for the 2016 World Championship, although they were unable to advance past the group stage.

In 2017, Splyce was unable to secure a spot in the World Championship. Despite their strong performance in the EU LCS, the team was unable to progress past the quarterfinals in both the spring and summer playoffs.

Although Splyce had plans to replace Mikyx with Raymond “kaSing” Tsang, as reported by ESPN, they intended to keep Sencux. With the acquisition of Sencux and Mikyx, Misfits Gaming has solidified their roster for the upcoming 2018 season.

Changes in Misfits Gaming Roster

The news of Misfits Gaming acquiring Sencux and Mikyx comes shortly after the team announced the departure of Tristan “PowerOfEvil” Schrage and Lee “IgNar” Dong-geun. Barring any last minute changes, Misfits Gaming’s roster for the 2018 season is now complete.
