Sandbox Gaming bids farewell to Hollow and Wizer, welcomes Fate

Sandbox Gaming adds Fate and GorrilA to their League of Legends team

Sandbox Gaming continues to make roster changes as they recently signed mid laner Yoo “FATE” Su-Hyeok and support Kang “GorrilA” Beom-Hyun. This comes just two days after adding AD carry Moon “Route” Geom-Su to their team. However, Sandbox also announced the departures of top laner Choi “Wizer” Ui-Seok and AD carry Shin “Hollow” Yong-Jin.

Fate’s addition to the team is a significant step up for him. In the previous season, Fate competed in Challengers Korea with Brion Blade, which is one league below the LCK.

On the other hand, Sandbox finished fourth in the LCK Summer Split and narrowly missed out on a Worlds spot by just two wins. They were eliminated by Kingzone DragonX in the second round of the Regional Finals.

Together with Fate, GorrilA, a well-known support player, has also joined the team. He previously played for Misfits in Europe but has now returned to South Korea. Alongside the new player signings, Sandbox has appointed Jung “FanTasy” Myung-Hoon as their new head coach.

Sandbox’s roster now includes a mix of experienced players and rookies. As for Hollow and Wizer, their plans for the upcoming season have yet to be announced.
