Samsung Galaxy dominates SKT 3-0 to claim League of Legends World Championship

Samsung Galaxy Wins League of Legends World Championship with 3-0 Sweep Over SK Telecom T1

Samsung Galaxy emerged as the victors of the League of Legends World Championship after a dominant 3-0 sweep over SK Telecom T1.

As Korea’s third seed, Samsung was not initially favored to win the championship, especially when compared to their LCK counterparts. They had a rough start in the group stage, leading many to believe that their journey would end early. However, Samsung surprised everyone by defeating Longzhu Gaming and Team WE in the quarterfinals and semifinals, respectively, earning their place in the finals against SKT.

No longer the underdogs, Samsung’s strong performance in the bracket stage, coupled with SKT’s early game issues, made them the favorites to win the series. And true to their title, Samsung dominated the finals.

Samsung showcased their authority throughout the series with their early game leads, exceptional teamfights, and superior map and wave control. SKT’s various composition attempts were no match for Samsung’s teamfight prowess, leading to a 3-0 victory for the new world champions.

As they raised the Summoner’s Cup, Samsung concluded this year’s competitive season as the World Champions.
