Samsung Galaxy dominates Cloud9 in Worlds quarterfinals.

North America’s Last Hope Crushed by Samsung Galaxy

Korea’s Samsung Galaxy had a dominating performance against Cloud9 in the League of Legends World Championship quarterfinals series. This came after both Team SoloMid and Counter Logic Gaming were eliminated in the group stage.

Samsung Galaxy: A Force to be Reckoned With

Samsung Galaxy entered the matchup as one of the strongest teams in the tournament, having gone undefeated in the latter half of the group stage. Despite the crowd support for Cloud9 at The Chicago Theatre, Samsung remained composed and came out on top.

In the first game, mid laner Minho “Crown” Lee made a powerful play by turning the tables on a double gank from Cloud9. He managed to take down Cloud9’s support, Smoothie, instead of retreating.

What followed was a series of impressive solo kills and outplays from Samsung Galaxy, leading them to victory in less than 28 minutes.

Standout Performance from CuVee

Top laner Sungjin “CuVee” Lee stood out for Samsung Galaxy, showcasing his skills with different champions in each game. He racked up numerous solo kills against Cloud9’s Impact and played a crucial role in team fights.

Samsung Galaxy’s Dominance Continues

Samsung Galaxy has only lost one game in the entire competition, which was against Team SoloMid. They now have an 8-1 record at Worlds, while the Korean region as a whole is 18-4.

The tournament will continue with the quarterfinals series between SK Telecom T1 and Royal Never Give Up.
