Saintvicious signs on as a strategic coach for FlyQuest

League of Legends Coach Saintvicious Joins FlyQuest for 2018 Summer Split

League of Legends coach Brandon “Saintvicious” DiMarco is set to join FlyQuest for the 2018 Summer Split. He aims to revitalize the team’s performance and turn their luck around. This move comes after former strategic coach Jung “Rapidstar” Min-sung left the organization at the beginning of May.

Saintvicious’s Career and Achievements

Saintvicious started his career in League of Legends as a top-laner on the original TSM lineup. He then transitioned to the jungle position when he joined CLG, where he participated in the first Worlds and placed fifth. From 2012 to 2015, he played as a jungler/coach for CLG, Team Curse, Gravity, and Team Coast.

In early 2016, Saintvicious joined NA Challenger team Apex Gaming as a coach. The team qualified for the NA LCS by defeating Team Dragon Knights 3-0 in the NACS Spring Playoffs.

Team Dignitas and Team Liquid

After Apex Gaming, Saintvicious joined Team Dignitas as a coach. However, with the organization’s failure to secure a spot in the new franchised NA LCS, he became jobless during the 2018 Spring Split.

In 2017, Saintvicious briefly joined Team Liquid, where the team narrowly avoided relegation and finished ninth in the league. He later returned to Team Dignitas and stayed with them until the end of the year.

FlyQuest’s Outlook with Saintvicious

FlyQuest had a challenging start to the 2018 NA LCS season, finishing eighth in the regular season and missing out on playoffs. With Saintvicious joining as their coach, the team hopes to bounce back and improve their performance. Their first game of the Summer Split will be against Echo Fox on June 16th.
