Rogue elevates Woolite from Academy team to LEC

Rogue Completes LEC Roster By Promoting Woolite from Academy Team

Rogue, the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) team, has finalized its roster for the upcoming 2019 LEC Summer Split by promoting AD carry Paweł “Woolite” Pruski from its Academy team. Woolite will be competing with Martin “HeaQ” Kordmaa for the starting ADC position in the summer split. This move completes Rogue’s decision to promote its entire Academy team to the LEC, with Support Oskar “Vander” Bogdan being promoted in February 2019 and the rest of the Academy roster joining in May. Finn Wiestål will also compete with Kim “Profit” Jun-hyung for the top lane position on the team.

Woolite expressed his excitement and optimism about his return to the LEC. He said, “I hope the community doesn’t judge me only based on my past…I worked really hard to come back to this level of play and can’t wait to show how much I have changed as a player.” Rogue’s decision to promote Woolite and the rest of its Academy team comes after the team’s poor performance in the 2019 LEC Spring Split, in which they finished last with a 2-16 record. The team struggled in terms of firepower and synergy, leading to the need for significant changes in the roster.

Rogue’s Academy team, on the other hand, had a successful run in the Ultraliga. They finished first in the regular season with a 13-1 record and went on to win the Ultraliga’s season one playoffs. The organization is hoping that this successful Academy roster can bring some much-needed success to the main LEC team.
