ROCCAT signs MrRalleZ to replace Woolite

Roccat replaces Woolite with MrRalleZ in LCS lineup

The LCS season is only three weeks old, but one LCS team has already made a significant change to its starting lineup. Team Roccat has replaced their AD carry Paweł “Woolite” Pruski with Rasmus “MrRalleZ” Skinneholm, bolstering a lineup that has struggled with a 2-4 record so far. This change comes as Roccat aims to improve their performance and climb to the top of the rankings.

The shortened LCS season implemented this year means that teams have little time to make necessary changes to remain competitive. Roccat’s head coach, Jakob “YamatoCannon” Mebdi, acknowledged Woolite’s talent but felt that a change was needed to improve the team’s performance. MrRalleZ, known for his mechanical talent, is expected to provide a more stable presence in the bottom lane.

Woolite has faced criticism for his positioning issues, often playing too close to the enemy team and putting Roccat at a disadvantage. With a KDA of 2.8 and 23 deaths, he ranks seventh among EU AD carries this season. In contrast, MrRalleZ has been a standout player for his previous teams, such as Supa Hot Crew and Meet Your Makers.

Mebdi has previous experience working with Skinneholm, making him a logical replacement for Roccat. Although Skinneholm is Danish and Roccat was originally a Polish team, the organization has been focused on recruiting talent rather than nationality. With Jankowski and Bogdan remaining as star players, Roccat expects to capitalize on their playmaking ability with MrRalleZ in the bottom lane.

Roccat was predicted to be a championship contender in 2014 but has struggled to find success. With the addition of MrRalleZ, the team hopes to address their remaining flaws and compete with Europe’s best. MrRalleZ will make his debut for Roccat against Elements and SK Gaming, providing an opportunity for the team to secure two wins.
