RNG Secures AD Carry Betty and Jungler Xiaolongbao

Royal Never Give Up Signs Betty and Xiaolongbao for 2020 Season

The LPL’s Royal Never Give Up has added former Flash Wolves AD carry Lu “Betty” Yu-Hung and rookie jungler Li “xiaolongbao” Xiao-Long to its League of Legends roster for the upcoming season, the organization announced today. Betty joins RNG after the disbandment of the Flash Wolves’ League team, which failed to secure a spot in the PCS. He will be competing for a starting position on the roster alongside RNG’s legendary AD carry Jian “Uzi” Zi-Hao, who recently re-signed with the organization, and other members of the team.

New Additions to RNG’s Roster

Uzi’s re-signing for the 2020 season was accompanied by the retention of support Shi “Ming” Sen-Ming and mid laner Li “Xiaohu” Yuan-Hao. This means that Betty, with his extensive experience of winning five LMS championships and participating in numerous international events, will be joining RNG for the upcoming LPL season. #RNGWIN

Xiaolongbao Joins RNG

Redefining himself as RNG’s new jungler, Xiaolongbao will replace Hung “Karse” Hao-Hsuan, who is departing to join Top Esports. Xiaolongbao, a relatively new face in the scene, will step onto the LPL stage for the first time after playing on Young Masters in the LDL last year. He played a crucial role in helping his team secure victory in the Spring playoffs after finishing second in the regular season.

Roster Completion

RNG completes its League roster for the upcoming year with top laner Xie “Langz” Zhen-Ying and substitute player Zhang “Wink” Rui.

After a disappointing performance at the 2019 World Championship, where they were eliminated in the group stage by Fnatic and SK Telecom T1, the Chinese team is determined to bounce back in the upcoming season.
