Riot’s Worlds 2022 merchandise falls short of expectations

League of Legends Worlds 2022 Merchandise: Overpriced and Underwhelming

The highly anticipated League of Legends World Championship is underway, with teams competing in the play-in stage. As the excitement builds, Riot Games has released their Worlds 2022 merchandise collection. However, many fans are disappointed with the high prices and lackluster options.

What’s in the Collection?

If you visit the official Riot store, you’ll find a range of items to choose from. The collection includes the Championship LeBlanc statue, a Tibbers plushie, a collar puffer jacket, a poncho, a hoodie, puff vest, joggers, crop tops, and a surfers hat.

Poor Value for the Price

Unfortunately, the quality of the materials and the limited color palette leave much to be desired. Fans are shocked by the high prices, starting at $35 for the least expensive item. On top of that, customers need to pay a minimum of $10 for shipping.

Only a few items stand out as being worth the price. The LeBlanc statue, priced at $85, is a special edition and offers more value compared to the expensive Kai’Sa statue. The Tibbers plushie, priced at $35, is also worth considering.

Falling Short of Expectations

Overall, the Worlds merchandise collection fails to meet expectations. With high prices, a small and expensive selection, a poor color palette, and lackluster options, many fans are left disappointed. While there will undoubtedly be buyers, this year’s collection leaves much to be desired.
