Riot’s upcoming 2D platformer CONV/RGENCE is arriving earlier than anticipated by LoL fans.

Riot Games Announces Release Date for CONV/RGENCE, a League of Legends 2D Platformer

Riot Games has finally revealed the release date for its upcoming 2D platformer, CONV/RGENCE, set in the world of Zaun. The game will feature beloved League of Legends champions in an exciting story.

The highly anticipated Riot Forge title is set to launch on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, GOG, Steam, and Epic Games on Tuesday, May 23. This news comes as a surprise to fans who had been eagerly waiting for a release date after the game’s initial delay.

CONV/RGENCE: A Timeless Battle

CONV/RGENCE will center around Ekko, the time-traveling champion in Runeterra. Players will join Ekko and his friends in their fight against the forces of evil as they utilize Ekko’s unique powers to navigate through space and time. However, the journey is filled with secrets and betrayal.

Delays and Polishing

Last year, Riot Forge unveiled CONV/RGENCE and another game called Song of Nunu. However, both titles were delayed in order to ensure the highest quality. The developers wanted to polish their projects before releasing them to the public.

Riot Forge has already released two other games set in the League of Legends universe: Hextech Mayhem and Ruined King. These games explore different regions of the League universe, with Zaun and Piltover gaining popularity due to their central role in the hit Netflix series, Arcane.
