Introducing Yuumi, the Magical Cat: League of Legends’ Newest Champion
League of Legends fans and cat lovers alike have eagerly been awaiting the arrival of Yuumi, the Magical Cat. Finally, Riot Games has answered their prayers by releasing a champion trailer.
The trailer begins with Yuumi flipping through her magic book, aptly named Book, as she wonders where her master has gone. Suddenly, she is teleported by Book to Summoner’s Rift, where she encounters several popular champions.
First, Yuumi meets Fizz and narrowly avoids being eaten by his giant shark. Then, she encounters Twitch and is chased by the Plague Rat until being saved by Poppy and Tristana. Yuumi even assists Kled in catching Fizz before showcasing her own unique abilities.
Throughout the gameplay portion of the video, Yuumi demonstrates her W ability, which allows her to quickly move between allies, providing shields and healing. She also reveals her powerful ultimate, unleashing seven waves of magic damage on her enemies.
Yuumi’s kit is reminiscent of Rakan’s great mobility, as she effortlessly moves in and out of battles, bolstering her teammates and stunning her enemies with her ultimate. Be prepared for some feline-filled fun when Yuumi hits the Public Beta Environment (PBE) on April 30th and arrives on live servers on May 14th.
