Riot unveils significant buffs for an overlooked LoL champion in Patch 13.13

League of Legends Champion Xerath Receives Buffs in Upcoming Patch

Xerath, an unpopular champion in League of Legends, is finally getting some attention from the developers. The upcoming Patch 13.13 will bring buffs for Xerath, which have already been introduced in the PBE servers and are scheduled to go live on June 28.

The current pick rate for Xerath is quite low at 1.6 percent in all ranks on Patch 13.11, as reported by stats site U.GG. These buffs have the potential to increase his popularity among players.

Buffs to Boost Xerath’s Performance

Xerath will receive standard yet impactful buffs. His cooldown will be reduced by 2 seconds per kill, and the number of missiles in his ultimate ability will increase from three-five to three-seven. Additionally, the base damage and AP ratio on his ultimate will be slightly reduced, but the damage will increase when it hits a champion.

Increased Reward for Skilled Xerath Players

These changes will make playing Xerath more rewarding for skilled players. The more shots of his ultimate ability a player lands, the more damage they will deal. Late-game Xerath will become even more formidable with the addition of extra shots and a new damage converter.

Zyra also Receives Changes for Jungle Role

In addition to Xerath, Riot Games is also looking at Zyra, another forgotten champion in League of Legends. Although traditionally a support, Zyra will receive changes that cater to the jungle role, making Zyra jungle players happy.

These changes are still tentative and subject to tweaking by Riot Games before the official release on June 28. PBE players will have the opportunity to test and provide feedback on these changes.
