Riot Games is building excitement around new skins for League of Legends. Unlike their usual reveals, Riot sent out mysterious email teasers to a select group of fans. The fans have shared what they were shown on Reddit, featuring creepy images, quotes, and a link to League’s Instagram account.
Lucian
The quote for Lucian’s skin is, “Devils live among us. Sometimes, within us. When you’re damned either way… give ’em hell.”
Thresh
The quote for Thresh’s skin is, “Devils live among us. Some hook you into a fool’s game, where taking one soul would’ve been a kinder consequence.”
Urgot
The quote for Urgot’s skin is, “Devils live among us. Some are steel monstrosities, relishing mass casualty in the name of industry.”
These skins have a Wild West theme, featuring elements like Lucian’s hat, Thresh’s cow skull, and Urgot’s hat and smoke stack. It appears that Riot is taking a darker approach with these skins compared to their High Noon series. This may be a way for Riot to redefine the skin series, just like they did with the Star Guardian and Blood Moon collections.
We can expect to learn more about these skins tomorrow, as the emails included tomorrow’s date. Let’s hope there’s no Teemo skin this time.
