Riot to Showcase League of Legends Concert Prior to World Championship Final

Riot Games brings international artists to China for League of Legends concert

Riot Games is hosting a League of Legends concert in China as part of the World Championship events. The concert will feature top artists from around the world and will take place at the Beijing National Aquatics Center on Nov. 3, the day before the Finals at Beijing’s National Stadium.

Popular performers to showcase their talent

The concert will feature renowned artists such as Nicki Taylor, who sang the 2015 Worlds song “Worlds Collide,” and the band behind the popular Pentakill albums released by Riot. Additionally, the artists behind champion themes like Get Jinxed and The Sad Mummy will also perform.

Music’s significant role in League of Legends fandom

Music has always held a special place in the hearts of League of Legends fans. The fictional band, Pentakill, gained immense popularity through their metal-themed skins for champions. These skins were so well-received that Riot commissioned an entire album for the band. One of their songs, “Lightbringer,” has over 16 million views on YouTube. Their second album even reached number one on the iTunes metal chart this year.

Exclusive event for Chinese residents

Since there is limited seating available for the concert, Riot will only be selling tickets to residents of China. However, for those unable to attend, the concert will be livestreamed on lolesports website.
