Riot to Introduce 6 Upcoming Champions in the Next Free-League: Wild Rift Patch

Six New Champions Coming to League of Legends: Wild Rift Beta

The executive producer of League of Legends: Wild Rift, Michael “Paladin” Chow, has announced that six new champions will be available for testing in the upcoming patch.

Players who have access to the closed beta will have the opportunity to try out Kai’Sa, Evelynn, Akali, Darius, Draven, and Seraphine for free. However, these champions will only be available from October 22 to 27.

During this testing period, Wild Rift participants are encouraged to play these new champions extensively. This will help Riot gather valuable feedback and make necessary adjustments before officially releasing them in the mobile game.

In addition to the six newcomers, the popular character Lee Sin will also be permanently added to the Wild Rift cast in the same patch. Lee Sin is known for his flashy maneuvers, such as the Insec play.

To make Lee Sin more user-friendly for mobile players, his abilities have been adjusted. For example, players will now be able to dash using Safeguard without the need for a ward.

While Wild Rift is currently only available in select regions, it is set to launch in Europe in December and in the Americas in the spring of 2021.
