New Item Icons Revealed for League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics
League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics fans were treated to an exclusive preview of three updated item icons. Lead gameplay designer Mark “Scruffy” Yetter unveiled the new icons for B.F. Sword, Bramble Vest, and Rabadon’s Deathcap, emphasizing that they are still a work in progress.
The B.F. Sword icon received a much-needed update, modernizing its grip and guard to create a visually appealing sword. Bramble Vest now showcases armor made from bones, giving it a unique and distinctive look compared to its predecessor. Rabadon’s Deathcap is now brighter and more magical, perfectly capturing the essence of a wizard’s hat.
These new icons will make their debut in TFT’s upcoming fourth set, Fates. Additionally, League of Legends will undergo a major item system overhaul, so players can expect these icons to arrive in the preseason patch later this year.
It’s worth noting that these icons may not be the final versions, as Riot Games welcomes feedback from the community. However, fans can look forward to seeing a variety of new item icons when TFT Fates launches in mid-September.
