Riot reveals upcoming champion nerfs for League’s Patch 12.11: Gwen, Taliyah, Wukong, and more.

League of Legends Update: Champions Nerfed in Patch 12.11

Last week, League of Legends released a durability update which left players scrambling to find the best champions. However, another game-changing update is on its way to shake up the meta in Summoner’s Rift.

In the upcoming Patch 12.11, popular champions like Taliyah, Wukong, and Lillia will be receiving nerfs, as confirmed by the recent Riot patch preview tweet.

Nerfs in the Top Lane

Riot aims to diversify the top lane, which has been dominated by Olaf, Lillia, and Gwen in the current patch. While Olaf will get some minor adjustments, others will face nerfs.

Changes in the Jungle

Many champions, including Wukong and Taliyah, have gained popularity in the jungle position. However, in the next patch, they will deal less damage to monsters, slowing down their jungle clear speed and reducing the impact of their abilities. Master Yi, Kayn, and Rengar will also have their base health reduced.

Tweaks in Other Lanes

Solo queue players have favored Swain and Kog’Maw in the mid and bot lanes respectively. Swain will see adjustments to his healing and damage, while Kog’Maw’s W ability will deal slightly less additional damage.

All these changes are expected to greatly impact the meta when Patch 12.11 goes live on Wednesday, June 8.
