League of Legends: New Event “Sentinels of Light” Revealed
Riot Games has unveiled the much-anticipated event for League of Legends fans, titled “Sentinels of Light.” This event marks the return of Viego, the Ruined King, and promises an exciting storyline for players to experience.
Fans discovered the event through a web puzzle on the game’s official site, which led them to a hidden secret link. Further exploration revealed two passwords, ultimately leading to a page with stunning artwork and the announcement of a new champion named Akshan.
Akshan, a mid-lane marksman, will join the League of Legends roster as a Sentinel of Light from the desert region of Shurima. He will play a crucial role in defending Shurima against the forces of undeath. Akshan’s unique weapon was inherited from another Sentinel named Shadya, adding to the intrigue of the upcoming event.
Sentinels of Light Event: Multiple Titles, One Experience
League of Legends fans won’t be the only ones to enjoy the Sentinels of Light event. Riot Games has expanded the event to multiple titles, including Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra, Teamfight Tactics, and VALORANT, the company’s first-person tactical shooter.
The Sentinels of Light event will kick off on Thursday, July 8, coinciding with the release of League Patch 11.14. The event will run for a month, concluding on Tuesday, Aug. 10.
