Riot introduces new Mythic item for increased “ally aggression” in League’s 2021 preseason

A New Mythic Item Added to the 2021 League of Legends Preseason

A brand new addition is coming to the 2021 League of Legends preseason, with lead gameplay designer Mark “Scruffy” Yetter announcing the introduction of another enchanter Mythic item. Additionally, some small adjustments will be made to the existing three enchanter items for better balance.

Enabler of Ally Aggression – Imperial Mandate

Imperial Mandate is the new enchanter Mythic item that aims to enable “ally aggression.” It provides AP (ability power), health, ability haste, and base mana regeneration. The Coordinated Fire passive is an interesting feature that marks enemies hit by slow or immobilize spells. When allied champions attack the marked target, it detonates the mark, dealing bonus damage and granting movement speed for two seconds.

This item is particularly beneficial for bot laners as it can convert a well-executed crowd control ability into a potential kill.

Changes to Moonstone Renewer and Support Items

Moonstone Renewer will also receive a stat adjustment, ensuring better balance within the game. Furthermore, Shurelya’s Battlesong and Locket of the Iron Solari are now usable by both tank and enchanter supports.

Preseason Item Changes Returning to the Test Server

The preseason item changes were temporarily removed from the PBE but will be back on the test server on Tuesday, October 13, according to Riot Games.
