Riot Games Introduces New Infernal Skins for League of Legends

Riot Games has announced the upcoming release of new skins for League of Legends, which are set to excite fans in the coming weeks. Joining the Infernal skin line are Karthus, Vel’Koz, and Kennen.

The Infernal skin line, known for its fiery aesthetics, has been around since 2010 when Infernal Mordekaiser was added. Since then, the skin line has expanded to include over 19 other champions.

Among the new skins, the visuals are particularly impressive. Karthus, for instance, summons a firestorm around himself with his Defile ability and creates a wall of fire for his W ability. Kennen also conjures a firestorm during his ultimate and ignites himself during his Lightning Rush ability.

However, the standout skin from this set is Vel’Koz. His tentacles have been replaced with red-hot chains, and he unleashes a deadly geyser of molten flame during his ultimate.

Alongside these new skins, Riot Games has also unveiled the Conqueror Nautilus skin. This cosmetic celebrates the Spring Split champions of 2020. Typically, a Conqueror skin is released each year for the Mid-Season Invitational, but the tournament was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Players will soon be able to try out these new skins on the Public Beta Environment (PBE).
