Riot Confirms: No Introduction of Silco to League of Legends

Silco from Riot Games’ Arcane to Join Teamfight Tactics as Playable Unit

Silco, a beloved character from Riot Games’ popular animated series Arcane, will be introduced as a playable unit in Teamfight Tactics next year. However, unlike other League of Legends champions that can be adapted to Teamfight Tactics with some adjustments, Silco will be an entirely new creation, Riot Games confirmed in a recent developer update.

Silco, originally designed for Arcane, made his debut in the League universe during the premiere of the Netflix series. In 2022, he will become the first Teamfight Tactics unit to be entirely sculpted and not based on an existing League champion. Details about Silco’s abilities, stats, and cost have not been revealed by Riot yet.

Future Plans for Teamfight Tactics

While Silco won’t be joining the League of Legends roster, Riot has already announced its plans for upcoming champions in 2022. Among them is a kinetic marksman who is always on the move, as mentioned in a Champion Roadmap post.

Riot also hinted that other characters from outside the League roster may potentially join Teamfight Tactics in the future. The game may see more outsiders joining in, even from outside of Runeterra.
