Riot applies nerf to Bel’Veth in League Patch 12.21

Bel’Veth Set to Receive Nerfs in Upcoming League of Legends Patch

A potential nerf is on the horizon for Bel’Veth in the popular game League of Legends. Spideraxe, a game designer and Surrender@20 mod, has uncovered data on the PBE servers suggesting that Riot Games developers are planning to weaken her E ability and ultimate in the next patch.

Nerfs to Bel’Veth’s Abilities

According to the data shared by Spideraxe, Patch 12.21 will bring changes to Bel’Veth’s abilities. Her E ability will have a longer cooldown, increasing from 22 to 16 seconds to 24 to 18 seconds. Additionally, the health of her voidlings will be reduced from 50 to 70 percent of minion health to 40 to 60 percent.

Potential Impact on Bel’Veth’s Strength

While these changes may appear minor at first glance, they could significantly affect Bel’Veth’s performance in the game. Currently, she holds a strong position as a jungler in League, with a win rate of 51.88 percent—the fifth highest among Platinum and above ranks, as reported by U.GG.

Nerfs and Buffs in Patch 12.21

Bel’Veth is not the only champion expected to receive nerfs in Patch 12.21. Miss Fortune and Blitzcrank are also slated for adjustments. Spideraxe found data indicating that Miss Fortune might see changes that could bring back her AP build. Additionally, Patch 12.21 is expected to include buffs for other champions like Xin Zhao, Ahri, Malzahar, and more, along with tweaks to various items.

Patch 12.21 is scheduled to go live on Wednesday, November 2.
