Riot Announces One-Day Test of Relaunched Clash in Oceania Region

Riot Tests Clash Mode Ahead of Relaunch

Riot is testing Clash, the new tournament feature in League of Legends, in certain regions. The mode was previously delayed due to technical issues but is now being relaunched.

The highly-anticipated Clash tournaments were cancelled on May 25 due to severe technical issues. To make it up to players, Riot activated ARURF, one of the popular game modes in League of Legends.

Clash will be relaunched in the Oceania region as a one-day test on June 5 to ensure a smooth experience. Players in the region can enter the test for free, without the need for a Clash ticket. However, the rewards for the one-day test will be different from the normal Clash mode. Players have the chance to earn Victory Points, a summoner icon, an exclusive beta-only banner, and one guaranteed Clash Orb.

These rewards will only be available for Oceania players participating in the one-day test and will not be given when Clash officially relaunches. Additionally, the test period will use four-team brackets to prepare for the future relaunch of the mode.

The one-day test of Clash in the Oceania region is scheduled for Tuesday, June 5 at 7pm AEST.
