Reportedly, Team Liquid shows interest in signing the champion of Worlds 2022

Pyosik from DRX Joins Team Liquid as LCS Jungler

Hong “Pyosik” Chang-hyeon, a player from DRX’s League of Legends World Championship-winning roster, has reached a verbal agreement with Team Liquid. According to a report by Alejandro Gomis from Blix.gg, Pyosik is set to become Team Liquid’s starting jungler in the upcoming LCS season.

Pyosik’s addition completes the full Korean-speaking roster that Team Liquid has planned for 2023. The team will be coached by former SKT T1 world champion Jang “MaRin” Gyeong-hwan.

Another player returning to Team Liquid is Park “Summit” Woo-tae, who will be their starting top laner. Liquid has also confirmed the promotion of Harry “Haeri” Kang and Sean “Yeon” Sung from the academy team to fill the mid lane and ADC positions. Jo “CoreJJ” Yong-in will remain as the starting support.

Pyosik has spent his entire career with DRX, starting from the academy team and quickly rising to become a key player on the main roster. His standout performance helped DRX make a miraculous run from nearly missing the LCK playoffs to winning the Worlds 2022 championship, defeating T1 in the finals.

With Pyosik’s move to Team Liquid, BeryL is the only player from the Worlds-winning lineup who has not yet finalized a team for the upcoming season.
