Report: Immortals set to acquire PowerOfEvil and WildTurtle for upcoming 2022 LCS season

Immortals Reportedly Signing PowerOfEvil and WildTurtle for the 2022 Season

According to a report by ‘ Pablo Suarez, Immortals is set to sign free agents PowerOfEvil and WildTurtle for the upcoming League of Legends season. PowerOfEvil was previously with TSM, while WildTurtle was released from CLG during the offseason.

Immortals will also be retaining top laner Revenge, as well as jungler Xerxe and support Destiny for the next season.

PowerOfEvil and WildTurtle have previously played together on FlyQuest during the 2020 season. They achieved back-to-back second-place finishes domestically and came close to qualifying for the quarterfinals of the League World Championship.

Joining Immortals will mark PowerOfEvil’s eighth different team in his career, while WildTurtle will be entering his 10th LCS season, making him one of the longest-tenured players in the North American scene.

Completion of Immortals’ 2022 Roster

With the signings of PowerOfEvil and WildTurtle, Immortals’ roster for the 2022 season is nearly complete. However, the team is expected to lose head coach Andre “Guilhoto” Pereira Guilhoto to Team Liquid.
