New Champion Renata Glasc Joins League of Legends
Riot Games has introduced a new support champion, Renata Glasc, to the popular game League of Legends. Renata will be added to the game in Patch 12.4 and brings a variety of powerful skills to the bottom lane.
Renata Glasc: The Chembaroness
Renata Glasc is a member of the resourceful and altruistic Zaunits alchemists. With her business acumen and advanced technological heritage, she rises to become an important figure in the district. Now, she plans to expand beyond the borders of Zaun.
Renata’s ultimate ability, called Hostile Takeover, releases a cloud of chemicals that puts enemies into a new state called Berserk. In this state, enemies experience an increase in attack speed but are forced to attack anything around them, including their own allies. This introduces true friendly fire into League of Legends for the first time, creating intense moments and gameplay possibilities.
A Kit Full of Utility
In addition to her ultimate ability, Renata Glasc’s kit includes other powerful utility skills. She has a rocket ability that can root an enemy and throw them in a target direction. Another rocket ability shields allies, while also damaging and slowing enemies. Renata also has an ability called Bailout, which grants a temporary resurrect to an allied champion upon death, with the potential to become permanent if they get a kill or assist.
