Red Bull partners with Riot Games for an epic solo League of Legends tournament

Red Bull Player One 2019: A Worldwide Tournament for Amateur LOL Players

Red Bull, the sponsor of the League of Legends European Championship, is collaborating with Riot Games in Europe to bring the Red Bull Player One 2019 tournament to amateur players. This one-vs-one League tournament will take place worldwide and will include over 25 different countries.

The tournament will kick off in April and winners from each national final will earn an all-expenses paid trip to Brazil. In Brazil, they will have the opportunity to train with professionals at the Red Bull Player One Bootcamp.

As part of its European tour, the tournament will make stops in various European countries, including Italy, Sweden, Spain, and Serbia. The finals will be held in December in São Paulo, Brazil, where players will compete to become the Champion of Summoners.

The tournament will follow classic one-vs-one rules, featuring a Blind Pick draft. The first player to reach 100 creep score, destroy a tower, or secure first blood will be declared the winner.

Red Bull Player One originated in Brazil in 2015 and has since expanded globally with over 30,000 participants. Recently, Red Bull announced its sponsorship of the game’s competitive European region, the LEC, and its partnership with the League developer to organize competitive events throughout Europe.

To participate in the Red Bull Player One 2019 tournament, players must be at least 16 years old and cannot be competing in the LCS, LEC, LCK, or LPL. Players can only enter one national qualifier and must possess all the necessary travel documents for the international event.

More details on registration will be revealed soon. Stay tuned!
