Day 2, Week 1 of the 2016 North American League Championship Series Summer Split
Today was the second day of Week 1 of the 2016 North American League Championship Series (NA LCS) Summer Split. Here’s what happened:
Immortals vs. Cloud9
In the first game, Immortals narrowly defeated Cloud9 with a score of 2-1. Immortals had a 9,000 gold lead and won the team kills 19-17. WildTurtle led the team with his utility play and Ashe ultimates.
Echo Fox vs. Phoenix1
Echo Fox won both games against Phoenix1. In the first game, Echo Fox won with a score of 2-0. KEITH had a deathless performance on Sivir with a score of 4/0/4. In the second game, Fox won again with a score of 2-0. kfo led the team with a score of 10/2/1 on Fiora.
Apex Gaming vs. NRG eSports
Apex Gaming defeated NRG eSports with a score of 2-0. In the first game, Apex dominated the bottom lane and won with a 15,000 gold lead. Xpecial and Apollo were the MVPs of the game. In the second game, Apex had a 20,000 gold lead and swept NRG. Xpecial and Apollo were the MVPs again.
Team EnVyUs vs. Team Liquid
Team EnVyUs won both games against Team Liquid. Seraph was the MVP of the first game with a score of 5/1/8 on Maokai. Procxin led the team in the second game, but did not earn the MVP award.
