The North American League Championship Series (NA LCS) Summer Split kicked off today, showcasing thrilling matches and surprises.
Team SoloMid Dominates Counter Logic Gaming
Team SoloMid (TSM) started the tournament strong with a 2-0 victory over Counter Logic Gaming (CLG). In the first game, TSM secured a convincing win with a 15-4 team kill advantage, led by the outstanding performance of ADC Doublelift on Lucian. TSM’s support, Biofrost, also shined with a solid 1/1/12 performance as Braum. The second game was more closely contested, but TSM managed to come out on top with a 19-16 team kill lead, largely due to Hauntzer’s impressive performance as Ekko.
Team EnVyUs Emerges Victorious Against NRG Esports
In another exciting match-up, Team EnVyUs defeated NRG Esports 2-1. EnVyUs dominated the first game, securing a 5-1 team kill advantage, with ADC LOD leading the charge on Ezreal. NRG struck back in the second game, winning a grueling hour-long battle with an 18-15 team kill lead. However, EnVyUs closed out the series with a 10-7 team kill advantage in the final game, showcasing LOD’s prowess on Caitlyn.
Exciting Prospects for the NA LCS Summer Split
Both EnVyUs and NRG displayed strong performances throughout the series, indicating a closely matched competition. However, it remains to be seen where they will stand in the overall standings of the tournament.
