Quinn’s Update: A Few Tweaks that Might Fall Short

Quinn’s Viability in Doubt Despite Recent Changes

Quinn, the popular League of Legends champion, has struggled to remain viable in the competitive scene. Despite a brief stint as a strong top laner last year, she quickly fell out of favor due to nerfs to her AD scalings and the Duskblade item. Recently, Riot made some changes to her kit in an attempt to bring back her power, but it remains to be seen if these updates will be enough.

Quality-of-Life Changes to Quinn’s Kit

The most significant update to Quinn’s abilities is a major improvement to her ultimate ability, Behind Enemy Lines. Additionally, there have been some adjustments to her passive and stats to help her scale better. Unfortunately, her base AD has been reduced, but her AD per level has been increased to compensate. Furthermore, her basic attacks will now consume her Harrier marks, even if the animation is canceled.

As for her ultimate ability, Skystrike, it has undergone some significant changes. It will now apply her Harrier mark to all enemies struck by the rain of arrows. The channeling of Skystrike will no longer be interrupted by damage, although she will be slowed for a short duration. In addition to these buffs, several bugs related to Skystrike have been fixed.

Will These Changes Be Enough?

While the changes to Quinn’s kit are certainly beneficial, it remains uncertain if they will make her viable in the current meta. She struggles to fulfill the roles of both an assassin and a marksman effectively, which leaves her in a precarious position. It is possible that she will require further buffs to her abilities to truly succeed.
