PSG Talon Unveils New Roster for the 2022 PCS Season

Talon’s New Roster for 2022 Season Revealed

Talon, the dominant organization in the Pacific region’s League of Legends esports scene, will enter the 2022 season with an exciting new roster. Supported by French football club Paris Saint-Germain, Talon has added Huang “Azhi” Shang-Chih, Lee “Juhan” Ju-han, Park “Bay” Jun-byeong, and Jason “Kanna” Ng to its lineup. This means that PSG will once again feature a unique mid-jungle pair, showcasing the team’s innovative approach.

PSG Talon shared the news on Twitter, introducing the new roster for the upcoming season:

PSG is dedicated to maintaining a diverse roster in the Pacific Championship Series (PCS), with Talon’s involvement in the esports scenes of Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea. Despite language barriers, the team has been constructed in a way that fosters immediate synergy on the Rift.

The core of the PCS 2021 championship-winning team, including Hanabi, Unified, and Kaiwing, remains as a solid foundation for the new roster. They are likely to be joined by the Korean duo from Nongshim RedForce Challengers, Bay and Juhan. In the LCK CL 2021 Summer Split playoffs, Bay and Juhan placed third, narrowly losing to Gen.G Challengers.

However, PSG will have to fill the void left by the departure of Maple and River. With Azhi and Kanna as dependable substitutes, the team will need to establish a strong new identity to replicate the success of the previous season.

Fans of League of Legends can look forward to seeing PSG Talon in action during the 2022 PCS Spring Split, which is scheduled to start in early 2022.
