Promising LoL Player from NA Could Begin LCS Journey in the Upcoming Year

100 Thieves’ League of Legends Division Looks to Promising Prospect Sniper for a Fresh Start in 2024

This past year wasn’t great for 100 Thieves’ League of Legends division. However, they may have a chance at redemption next year by promoting a talented young player to their main roster.

Rayan “Sniper” Shoura, a 16-year-old top laner, has been playing in North America’s tier-two scene for 100 Thieves’ Challenger and Academy rosters. According to esports reporter Alejandro Gomis, Sniper is expected to be given an opportunity in the LCS in 2024 by joining 100 Thieves’ main roster.

If Sniper does get the call-up, he will be replacing experienced star Kim “Ssumday” Chan-ho, who recently returned to 100 Thieves after a brief stint with Evil Geniuses.

For 100 Thieves, this represents another chance to rebuild their roster after unsuccessful attempts with top players like Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg and Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng. It is worth noting that Sniper would also be the youngest player in the LCS, which may bring added pressure.

Sniper started his journey with 100 Next, the organization’s amateur roster aimed at nurturing young talent. After proving himself, he earned a spot on the Academy team. Interestingly, Sniper is the younger brother of Omran “V1per” Shoura, who has played professionally for various organizations.

With potential coursing through his veins, Sniper has the chance to become a prominent star in North America’s League of Legends scene. Fans have witnessed young talents like Evil Geniuses’ mid laner Joseph “jojopyun” Pyun blossom into incredible players, and they hope that Sniper can achieve similar success in his debut season next year.
