Profit signs with Team ROCCAT for the 2018 Spring Split

Team ROCCAT Adds Kim “Profit” Jun-hyung to Its Roster

Team ROCCAT has announced that the top laner Kim “Profit” Jun-hyung will be joining their roster for the 2018 EU LCS Spring Split. Profit, who previously played for SK Telecom T1 and Ninjas in Pyjamas, had a mixed performance last year. After joining NiP in the 2017 Summer Split, Profit was expected to lead the team towards the playoffs. However, NiP finished last in their group and were subsequently relegated from the EU LCS after failing to win promotion in the 2018 EU LCS Spring Promotion Tournament.

ROCCAT has not yet revealed the other four members of their 2018 roster. According to a report by ESPN, the revamped ROCCAT lineup may include former Ninjas in Pyjamas ADC Martin “HeaQ” Kordmaa, and former Schalke 04 players Jonas “Memento” Elmarghichi and Tore “Norskeren” Hoel Eilertsen, as well as Jin “Blanc” Seong-min, formerly of Paris Saint-Germain and Jin Air Greenwings.

Ambitious Goals for ROCCAT in the Upcoming Season

ROCCAT placed fourth overall in both the 2017 Spring and Summer Splits in the EU LCS. The organization is determined to improve upon their previous results and compete with the top teams in the upcoming season for coveted playoff spots.
