Preview of League of Legends PBE reveals upcoming Battle Academia skins

Riot Games has unveiled the newest Battle Academia skins on the League of Legends Public Beta Environment. The skins are inspired by shonen anime and feature Ezreal, Lux, Jayce, Katarina, Graves, and Yuumi as members of an elite battle school. These champions are seen in student attire, fighting off test dummies in a simulation during their recalls.

Graves and League’s latest champion, Yuumi, also receive Battle Academia skins, but they are not portrayed as students. Graves dons a long professor’s coat and points at a holographic chalkboard during his recall, while Yuumi bats a stack of books and a coffee mug from what seems to be a dean’s desk.

The new set of skins includes a legendary skin for Ezreal and a prestige edition for Lux. Additionally, several of the new Battle Academia skins will come with their own set of chromas.

Riot had previously hinted at this skin line in a Roadmap video, which showcased a shonen-themed event. A recent login screen titled “Houses 2019” displayed four floating house emblems, presumably related to the event shown in the video.

Although an official release date for the Battle Academia skins has not been announced, they are now available on the League of Legends PBE for further testing before being released in a future patch.

Here are the individual Battle Academia skins for each champion:

– Battle Academia Ezreal
– Battle Academia Jayce
– Battle Academia Katarina
– Battle Academia Graves
– Battle Academia Yuumi
– Battle Academia Lux
– Prestige Battle Academia Lux
