Preview of Lancer Stratus Wukong and Badlands Rumble skins on the PBE

Upcoming Skins for Wukong and Rumble Teased

Patch 8.6 is coming tomorrow, bringing with it a new PBE cycle and the opportunity for Riot to reveal new champions, skins, and updates. Today, the company teased two new skins for Wukong and Rumble.

Wukong’s Lancer Stratus Skin

One of the new skins teased is Lancer Stratus Wukong, which is expected to be part of the same skin universe as Lancer Zero Hecarim and Blitzcrank’s Lancer skins. The skin was revealed by Riot China. Check it out here.

Rumble’s Badlands Rumble Skin

The other new skin is Badlands Rumble, which transforms Rumble into a character from The Dark Knight Rises, Bane. This skin was revealed on the League of Legends France Twitter account. See it here.

While Wukong’s new skin looks cool, he already has several other badass skins. In comparison, Rumble’s new skin is more highly anticipated, as it is his first new skin since 2011 aside from the Super Galaxy Rumble skin released in 2014. Players have been eagerly awaiting a new Rumble skin, and Riot is delivering.

In fact, Riot mentioned the creation of a new Rumble skin in this year’s State of Skins blog post as part of their initiative to provide skins for champions in need of them. Both new skins, Lancer Stratus Wukong and Badlands Rumble, should be available with Patch 8.7 in just two weeks.
