Riot Games Reveals Sneak Peek of Upcoming League of Legends Comic
League of Legends fans are in for an exciting treat as Riot Games has given them a sneak peek at the upcoming comic series centered around Zed, the Master of Shadows.
What to Expect
The new comic series, which will be six issues long, is set to release on Wednesday, Nov. 20. Written by Odin Austin Shafer, the same writer behind the Ashe: Warmother comic series, this highly anticipated storyline will dive into the world of the former Kinkou Order member, Zed.
Release and Availability
Diehard fans will have the option to purchase the paperback version of the Zed comic series starting from May 2020. However, for those who prefer not to buy anything, the series will also be released on a monthly basis until April 2020. Best of all, it will be available for free reading on the League Universe webpage.
A Sneak Peek at the Story
Riot has also shared some enticing images from the comic series. Fans can catch a glimpse of Zed without his iconic mask, as well as see him leading his group of assassins. The story will revolve around Zed’s mission to protect Ionia, his homeland, from a dangerous mage. In order to defeat this great evil, he will need to confront his past and reunite with Shen.
