Potential changes on LoL PBE may put an end to Blitzcrank’s alternative role

Changes to Blitzcrank in League of Legends PBE

Blitzcrank, a champion in League of Legends known for his straightforward gameplay, is undergoing significant changes on PBE. Riot Games has adjusted his attack speed, ability bonuses, and damage to monsters and minions. These changes will impact Blitzcrank’s viability as a unique jungler pick.

Before the changes, some players enjoyed using Blitzcrank as a jungler in normal games to experiment with different strategies. However, with the new adjustments, this role will no longer be viable for Blitzcrank. While he may not be as strong as other traditional junglers, his ability to isolate individual opponents and make game-changing grabs in the early and late game will no longer be possible.

Restricting Blitzcrank to Support Role

Blitzcrank will now be primarily limited to the support role. Although this change might disappoint some fans who enjoyed playing Blitzcrank in alternative roles, there are other champions like Nautilus and Thresh that offer similar catch potential, durability, and utility.

While the removal of Blitzcrank’s niche build might be disappointing to some, it will likely have little impact on ranked play, where it was relatively uncommon. However, for those who play Blitzcrank as a support, the changes are favorable. He will gain increased durability and reduced mana costs for Overdrive and Power Fist, allowing for a more aggressive playstyle in the bottom lane.
