Popular League of Legends champions Neeko and Jinx face nerfs and adjustments in Patch 13.9

Riot Games Reveals Patch Preview for League of Legends Patch 13.9

Riot Games has shared the details of its upcoming changes in League of Legends Patch 13.9. This bi-weekly patch will directly alter 11 champions, with five receiving buffs, two getting nerfs, and four receiving adjustments.

The developers have announced that the biggest changes in Patch 13.9 will be applied to Neeko and Kayle. Kayle’s ultimate ability, Divine Judgment (R), will have its cast time reduced by a full second, its area of effect increased, and its damage reduced at all ranks.

Neeko’s highly anticipated mid-scope update will also be released in Patch 13.9. This update will allow her to transform into minions, jungle plants, and other objects present on Summoner’s Rift.

Taliyah and Bel’Veth will also be receiving adjustments in this patch, but the exact nature of these changes has not been disclosed.

As for nerfs, Sion and Jinx are the only two champions receiving direct nerfs in Patch 13.9. Jinx, who has had the highest pick rate in the game on Patch 13.8, will see her pick rate decreased. On Platinum Elo and higher, Jinx’s pick rate goes over 30 percent with a win rate above 51 percent.

The numerical details of each buff and nerf will be revealed in an extended version of the patch preview expected to be released on April 25. League Patch 13.9 is scheduled to be released on May 3.
