Piglet Transitions to America, Joins Curse

Piglet Joins Curse Gaming for the Upcoming Season of League Championship Series

Curse Gaming has officially announced that Korean superstar Chae “Piglet” Gwang-jin will join their team for the upcoming season of the League Championship Series. Piglet’s addition to the team is expected to give Curse a powerful player who can compete on the world stage.

In 2013, Piglet’s team, SK Telecom T1 K, won the World championship and he himself was named the “Best ADC” at the Korean Esports Awards. However, 2014 was a challenging year for Piglet as he struggled with SK Telecom. After narrowly missing out on qualifying for the Worlds, he was released from the team.

Coming to America presents a fresh start for Piglet to rebuild his professional career. He expressed his gratitude to Team Curse for giving him an opportunity to play as a pro again and pledged to do his best to help the team become the world champions of Season 5.

Curse Gaming hopes that Piglet’s addition will break their streak of finishing in fourth place every season. In the Summer Split, Curse Gaming finished in fourth place after a playoff run that almost took them to the World stage.

Team Curse Manager Steve Perino describes Piglet as a “coach’s dream player,” and all-star support player Alex “Xpecial” Chu is excited to practice with him. Chu, known as the best support player in America, believes that having the right marksman will allow him to shine even brighter.

Piglet’s arrival also means that David “Cop” Roberson, a steady but unspectacular player, will be replaced. Curse Gaming hopes that Piglet will bring more playmaking to the marksman position, as the team can sometimes rely too heavily on their mid laner, Joedat “Voyboy” Esfahani, to carry games.

The signing of Piglet by Curse Gaming was initially seen as a far-fetched idea, but it became a reality just one month later. This move is a big win for the organization and a transaction that fans had been hoping for but never thought would actually happen.

There will be great pressure on Piglet to perform, but if there is any player who can live up to those expectations, it’s the former world champion.
