‘Perpetual Disappointment’: Educative LoL Streamer xFSN Reveals Reasons for Quitting the Game

Iconic LoL Streamer xFSN Saber Quits Due to Unfun Gameplay

Allen “xFSN Saber” Chen, a well-known educational streamer for AD carry mains in the game League of Legends, has recently announced his departure from the game. In a video released on Aug. 10, Chen explained that the game and his role are no longer enjoyable for him, unless he’s playing an overpowered champion like AP Kai’Sa.

Chen expressed his discontent with the state of the game for ADCs, stating that it has become increasingly unfun over the past few years. He hoped for a different direction in terms of gameplay. The excessive amount of damage in the game and the level difference between solo laners and bot lane have made it difficult for ADCs to survive against burst damage.

Despite the Durability Patch and AD carry item changes, ADCs lack the necessary tools to survive encounters with assassins like Zed. Chen feels that he often dies without much chance to outplay the enemy’s abilities, and he believes that he has already passed his peak performance.

In response to his dissatisfaction with League of Legends, Chen has shifted his focus to playing Teamfight Tactics, with the goal of reaching Challenger rank. It remains to be seen if he will eventually return to the game.
