Pentanet.GG achieves victory as champions of the 2021 LCO Spring Split

Pentanet.GG Becomes First Champions of League of Legends Circuit Oceania

Pentanet.GG has emerged as the inaugural champions of the League of Legends Circuit Oceania (LCO), after a dominant performance throughout the season. They secured their victory with a 3-1 series win against rival team PEACE in the playoffs. As a result, Pentanet.GG has qualified for the upcoming Mid-Season Invitational in Iceland.

Pentanet.GG’s Journey to Victory

In the grand final series, Pentanet.GG faced a strong teamfighting composition from PEACE, who secured high priority champions like Orianna and Jinx. However, Pentanet.GG quickly adapted in games two and three, prioritizing the drafting of Jinx due to her current strength and scaling abilities.

The final game was a tense back-and-forth affair, with both teams fighting relentlessly. Pentanet.GG secured the advantage by obtaining both the Mountain Soul and Elder Dragon. Despite facing difficulties in breaking the enemy’s Nexus, Pentanet.GG’s jungler Pabu managed a sneaky backdoor play to secure the victory.

Recognition for BioPanther and Pentanet.GG’s Journey to MSI

BioPanther, the top laner for Pentanet.GG, was named the Most Valuable Player of the split. Despite playing weakside tanks like Sion and receiving minimal resources, BioPanther consistently showcased his skill and impact on the game.

As the champions of LCO, Pentanet.GG has earned a $15,000 bonus and the opportunity to represent the region at the Mid-Season Invitational. The team will now head to Reykjavik, Iceland, carrying the hopes and expectations of Oceanic League fans.
