PapaSmithy Declares Ry0ma an Ideal Mid Laner for 100 Thieves’ LCS Team

100 Thieves’ General Manager Discusses Signing of Ry0ma

Chris “PapaSmithy” Smith, the general manager of 100 Thieves’ League of Legends team, has revealed the reasons behind the team’s decision to sign former OCE mid laner Tommy “Ry0ma” Le for the upcoming 2020 season.

Ry0ma Impresses in Selection Process

PapaSmithy spoke highly of Ry0ma, stating that he met all the criteria the team was looking for in a player. According to PapaSmithy, Ry0ma possesses a strong foundation of skills with considerable potential for growth. Additionally, English is his first language, he performed exceptionally well in the NA tryouts, and he garnered positive references.

An Exciting Prospect for 100 Thieves

PapaSmithy expressed his confidence in Ry0ma, stating that no other player they scouted this offseason represented themselves as impressively as Ry0ma did. The decision to bring him on as their mid laner was unanimous among the team. While Ry0ma still has room to improve, PapaSmithy eagerly looks forward to witnessing his development up close.

Moving from OPL to LCS

PapaSmithy commented on the opportunity that the LCS represents for OCE players. He noted that the LCS offers them a chance to compete at a higher stage, an opportunity they have not had before. Players from OCE are aware of the significance of this platform and are determined not to waste it.

The transition from the OPL to LCS may pose some challenges for Ry0ma, but his potential is vast and can be tapped into alongside his teammates. The future looks promising for 100 Thieves.
